The Company

Our client is a well-invested, European-based chilled foods business producing high quality, added-value products for all of the leading UK Grocery retailers. This dynamic and successful business with a very entrepreneurial and professional culture has grown through both acquisition and substantial dual-product category sales growth, resulting in a category leadership position.

They are now looking to further invest in their future growth strategy through 2020 with the opening of a new state-of-the-art, UK-based factory and by further strengthening their National Accounts team with the appointment of a Sales Support Executive… exciting times ahead!


The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager this role will be highly engaged with all elements of supporting and developing major customer business including market and category analysis, NPD project management, promotional planning coordination, new business implementation plus customer financial performance review and reporting… not to mention regular customer contact.

Working as a key member of the highly collaborative internal team, this role will play an integral part in ensuring the business maximises sales volumes whilst delivering outstanding customer service.

This is a fantastic opportunity to substantially grow your experience and skills within a dynamic, fast-paced National Accounts function. The Candidate

The ingredients required to succeed here include:

  • Some experience of working in FMCG Sales or Marketing where you have developed a basic understanding of the industry, in-store product disciplines and activities
  • Applied intelligence and common sense
  • Willingness to listen, learn and take responsibility
  • Work as part of a motivated and collaborative cross-functional team
  • Enthusiasm, desire and passion to succeed

  • Highly personable style, with the ability to influence at all levels
