THE COMPANY

A highly successful, global brand-leading food group with manufacturing plants in multiple countries producing household name, premium food products known and loved by millions of household across the UK.

The UK division supports their brand-leading products with above-the-line TV marketing investment and has a pipeline of product innovations coming through for launch in 2019/2020.

 

THE ROLE

You will assume full responsibility for the UK commercial P&L performance together with the future development and implementation of the trading strategy through the compact National Accounts team, as well as ensuring highly effective cross-functional management with all relevant UK and internationally-based colleagues.

You will be required to lead and inspire the National Accounts team both internally and with major customers, to shape effective, consumer-insight-led trading strategies focused on further improving brand exposure through increased product listings, store distribution and merchandising display quality.

 

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

This appointment requires an individual who has already gained FMCG industry experience working at Sales Director or Commercial Director leadership level and who has achieved a demonstrable track record of successfully leading and inspiring National Account teams to deliver branded, product profitable sales growth.

With a first class understanding of the UK food industry, together with senior level contacts across the leading Grocery Retail Multiple Accounts, you are looking to develop your commercial leadership career into a role where you will have the responsibility and freedom to make things happen within a category where there are clear opportunities for further growth.
