The Role

My client are looking to appoint an outstanding and energetic Sales Director (MD Designate) to spearhead the future sales strategy, develop ranges of consumer products through working with leading north American brands and UK start-ups and shape your future team.

This is a senior leadership role where you will take total ownership of new business development, sales, brand owners management and detailed P&L management, working closely with all internal colleagues and key customer stakeholders to formulate long term profitable trading strategies and highly effective customer relationships. Key areas of focus are beauty, sport, vaping oils and edible oils. You will also manage all UK marketing and branded support with a focus on driving rate of sale and building consumer brand awareness.

This is a challenging role that requires strong commercial, marketing and financial acumen, with a proven track record of developing successful relationships with large retail chains and negotiating distributor agreements on behalf of existing global brands.

 

About You

To make a success of this fantastic Sales / MD designate leadership role, you will have strongly grown your career in a recognised FMCG company / non-food distributor, where you have developed a sound understanding of the route to market dynamics and key customer contacts. You have been successful to date leading sales teams to deliver the highest customer service standards, as well as successfully growing profitable sales and budgetary achievement. At the same time, you are a hustler, willing to roll up the sleeves and get things done!

Above all, you are a charismatic and passionate individual with the gravitas to ‘hold the floor’, together with the drive, energy, and strategic mind-set to achieve both my clients commercial objectives as well as your own career goals, which in this role could broaden into a future European Director role.
