The Company

Our client is a well-invested, European-based chilled foods business producing high quality, added-value products for all of the leading UK Grocery retailers. This dynamic and successful business with an entrepreneurial and professional culture has grown through both acquisition and substantial dual-product category sales growth, resulting in a category leadership position.

They are now looking to further invest in their future growth strategy through 2020 with the opening of a new state-of-the-art, UK-based factory and by further strengthening their customer-facing management team with the appointment of a National Account Manager… exciting times ahead!


The Role

Teamwork is critical to success in this pivotal NAM role, working X-functionally with all internal stakeholders you will directly manage a small number of grocery retail multiple customers including commercial negotiation, promotional planning and project managing NPD briefs.

Regardless of your experience, you will be given the full support of the team plus further coaching and development to help you achieve both your business objectives and personal career goals.

As a key member of the broader ‘business management team’, you will also have input into the future development of sales and marketing ideas and activities — this is not just a ‘boxed’ NAM role, you will have the freedom to voice your creativity and commercial ideas where you can really make a difference.


The Candidate

Of graduate calibre, you have developed your selling experience and skills with a recognised FMCG own label or branded food or drink company up to either NAE or NAM level working as part of the Nam team or directly managing any of the Grocery retail multiple accounts.

You have been well trained and have a strong understanding (or experience) of modern FMCG account management activities including the NPD concept to launch process, insight-led category selling and customer relationship development… the rest we will teach you!
