THE COMPANY

Substantial €1bn European chilled food group that grows and produces both commodity and added-value, own-label products across a variety of product categories.

The well-invested UK division has recently restructured and is looking to step change its presence and sales performance across the major grocery retail multiples. Part of the strategic vision for growth is the creation of a range of exciting new added-value product innovations, as well as the appointment of another Senior National Account Manager.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the commercial lead, this role will take full control of two leading grocery retail multiple accounts including performance budgets, JBP negotiation and shaping the strategic development plan to achieve targeted sales growth. Key to the success of the role will be your collaborative approach to working both internally and externally with all key stakeholders while influencing from the front to ensure key business objectives are achieved.

THE CANDIDATE

Having been well trained within a large food or drink business you have strongly developed your customer management experience and skills within any of the major retail multiples, and are now looking for a fresh career challenge.

You are highly experienced with the commercial (P&L) management of own-label food or drink products, including leading the coordination of category, product development and supply chain stakeholders. Additionally, you have achieved a track record of profitable sales growth with a focus on new product listings, distribution, merchandising and promotional activation.

With a highly personable style, you are driven and confident dealing at all management levels, with the ambition to achieve both your business and personal commercial objectives.
