The role

This is an exciting new opportunity to join a successful team in a broad-based commercial role with a substantial sales and profit major customer portfolio which requires both influencing and direct management of key stakeholder relationships at all management levels.

Supported by an outstanding team of colleagues across NPD, manufacturing, insight-driven marketing and culinary chefs, all focused on helping you shape added-value, bespoke food concept solutions that meet the needs of your customers and ultimately, their targeted consumers.

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Business Manager, this role offers the commercial challenge and opportunity to have a key strategic input at both total market and customer level, where your thinking and ideas to drive additional profitable sales growth will be valued and fully supported.

About you

You are an experienced B2B commercial professional, with a track record of delivering profitable sales growth selling food ingredients and/or food concepts into the major UK-based food manufacturers. Or maybe you are a real ‘foodie’, working in a technical or NPD role within an added value food solution-based business and are now looking to move your career into frontline commercial customer management?

Either way, you have a strong understanding of the food manufacturer/Grocery Retailers NPD process and route-to-market dynamics, and you are a natural at working cross-functionally, with a sharp, intelligent commercial mindset to both see and drive the big commercial opportunities.
