The opportunity

Our client is making huge investments in manufacturing, NPD innovation and marketing which, together with an outstanding team culture, is focused on achieving their 5-year strategic growth plan objective to double the size of the business by 2023.

Part of a larger European food group, the UK division is looking to appoint a dynamic Commercial Manager with excellent trade relationships and a strong working knowledge of ‘food solution selling’ into the major UK B2B industrial food manufacturers.

This role will include managing a selection of very high profile B2B industrial food manufacturer customers, with full P&L management control, targeted at further developing existing business into new product categories as well as ‘hunting’ new customers.


What about you?

You are an experienced, well-connected business manager with an excellent track record of profitable sales growth, selling food ingredient solutions into food manufacturers.

You can shape and drive effective account development strategies, gather and influence the internal team and customer led Buying, Marketing, Chefs, NPD and Technical key stakeholders – in short, you can make things happen – including negotiating the deal!

Finally, you must have the drive, energy and style to both WIN commercially but also have a highly personable style capable of ‘holding the floor’ and inspiring the room with your colleagues at all management levels. Oh… and if you’ve got the ambition to further grow your future commercial career into a more senior commercial role that would help!
