THE COMPANY

A well-known international FMCG branded business with a strong consumer and trade reputation for product quality within the hot beverage category. As part of a strategic review and restructuring of their UK business, our client is looking to both step-change and further invest in their Marketing team and brand offering within the Foodservice and B2B trade channels. Their key focus in this is to meet the needs of today’s discerning consumers in line with future demand increases for out-of-home consumption.

 

THE ROLE

 Reporting to the Head of Marketing you’ll be responsible for driving the growth of a branded portfolio within the Foodservice sector. You’ll also be required to develop and implement the strategy for specific Foodservice and B2B retail customer-led brand merchandising solutions, including all relevant activities, materials and point of purchase communications designed to create a highly-modern and consumer-engaging trading environment… exciting stuff! The development and implementation of effective brand plans and NPD will also be in your remit, along with managing budgets and promotional activity and working cross-functionally with external agencies and the commercial teams.

 

THE CANDIDATE

We’re looking to attract candidates currently working at Assistant Brand Manager or Brand Manager level who’ve gained a broad-based level of FMCG Food or Drink branded marketing experience with the leading grocery channels or in retailer marketing. A background of marketing in the Foodservice sector would be beneficial, enabling you to hit the ground running in this position. Above all, you’re a creative marketeer with a highly passionate style and a demonstrable ‘can do’ attitude to achieve both your marketing objectives, and the ambition to further develop your FMCG marketing career.
