Looking for your next step in FMCG export sales? This is a rare opportunity to join a successful, fast-paced FMCG business managing a portfolio of international distributor accounts. With a renewed focus on key growth markets in Eastern Europe, this hands-on role offers strong commercial exposure, international travel, and real scope to make an impact.

Our client is a well-established name in the UK FMCG sector, supplying a mix of branded products to both domestic and overseas markets. Known for its collaborative culture and entrepreneurial spirit, the business is focused on long-term growth through innovation, customer service, and strategic partnerships.

They are now seeking an International Account Manager to lead distributor relationships and unlock new opportunities across a selection of high-potential international territories.

The role

This is a hands-on commercial role focused on managing and growing international distributor accounts across selected Eastern European markets.

Reporting to the International Sales Controller, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing existing distributor relationships and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Supporting the development and delivery of annual sales plans and forecasts
  • Leading joint business planning initiatives and overseeing pricing, promotions and launches
  • Acting as the key point of contact for internal teams including marketing, supply chain and finance
  • Travelling internationally as needed to build and maintain strong customer relationships

About you

We’re looking for a commercially driven FMCG professional with:

  • At least 3–5 years’ experience in international sales or export account management
  • A track record of working with distributors and / or retailers overseas
  • Strong commercial, analytical and relationship-building skills
  • A self-starter mindset – proactive, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities

You’ll need to be comfortable travelling abroad for customer meetings and be excited by the challenge of growing brands internationally.
