The Company  

Our client is a c.£300m household-name chilled foods company and a leading player in its category, supplying both brand and own-label products to the Grocery Multiples, Convenience and Foodservice trade channels. Product quality, innovation, NPD and creative marketing are the cornerstones of this well established business, together with a friendly, supportive and empowering business culture.

The Role  

We are now looking for a National Account Manager to manage a small portfolio of Top 4 grocery multiple customers. Reporting to the Sales Controller, your remit will be varied and you’ll be involved in all commercial aspects of growing and developing both a branded and own label product portfolio, including terms negotiation, joint business planning, category development and a strong and continuous NPD/innovation programme. The company will provide all of the training and development required to be able to step up into a bigger role in due course.

About You

Of graduate calibre, the ideal candidate will have previous FMCG sales experience in a recognised food or drink company. You will have some previous grocery multiples account management experience. Some private label experience is desirable.

This role requires a highly-motivated, self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills, strong project management skills and a desire to achieve both commercial and personal success. Based in the South West/Bristol/M5 region,you will be required to attend the company’s head office on a regular basis.
