THE JOB

Total strategic and P&L control of Morrisons and Lidl accounts selling a range of household name, premium brand-leading food products that are supported with above and below the line marketing investment. The focus on the role is to tailor brand and category-led strategies to meet your customers’ shopper and consumer needs, driving profitable sales growth through product listings, distribution and promotional activities as well as building effective key stakeholder relationships.

THE CANDIDATE

To qualify for this career-shaping opportunity you will need recent blue chip or large branded business experience where you have been well trained with structured and modern category insight-led systems and procedures. You are comfortable with managing a major customer P&L and understand the dynamics of working cross-functionally, together with the confidence and natural ability to take the account lead in influencing the business agenda.

In terms of recent account management experience, you are either directly managing Waitrose/Coop/M&S/Ocado/Iceland/Morrisons accounts OR working as part of a blue chip NAM team managing part of a large Top 4 Grocery Retail Account business and looking for that ‘total account control career move’.

About you? You are driven, hungry to deliver and reap the rewards both in terms of remuneration and also promotion — both are expected here!
