Our client is a highly successful division of a major FMCG company operating across a number of diverse categories. The company has a broad portfolio of branded alcoholic and soft drinks. Still proudly privately owned and entrepreneurial, our client remains committed to strengthening its presence in the FMCG sector.

They are now looking to strengthen their operations team with the appointment of an Operations Administrator, to cover maternity leave for a 12-month period. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for their first role and there may be an option to join the company permanently, if the candidate is successful in this fixed term contract position.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing sales orders, raising stock replenishment orders, maintaining stock levels and issuing monthly reporting. You will attend regular meetings with the Sales team / Commercial Planning / Operations team and build strong relationships both internally and externally. The position is office based with the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week post Covid. Travel to other sites in the group may be required.

About You

You will have recently graduated with a degree in business, finance, mathematics or statistics.

Excellent communication skills are essential and you will be confident liaising across departments, both internal and external to the company. You possess good analytical and numerical skills along with strong team working skills. A good level of competency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
