The Company

Led by an entrepreneurial business owner, this added-value premium FTG business has achieved substantial growth over the past 20 years in the foodservice sector and continues to flourish, despite the Covid-19 challenges!

Having moved into a new factory in 2018 the business focuses on producing premium food for its impressive customer base with whom they have built a reputation for high quality products and excellent no-limit customer service. They are revered in the industry for their talented front line sales, marketing and food concept development team that build effective and trusted customer relationships.

With further investment plans to grow the business to the next level, they are looking to make further investments in manufacturing, marketing and sales with the appointment of an experienced contract catering sector National Account Manager.

The Role

The primary responsibility for this role will be to manage their substantial Sodexo account, including all key stakeholders both at head office and into national site management with a strong focus on driving additional site ranging and sales volume growth. This will require knowledge of this customer both with strategic commercial management as well as developing suitable food concepts with key stakeholder chefs and buyers that meet the individual needs of the Sodexo customer base.

You will influence a team of BDMs who develop the broader contract catering sector strategy, including activating major Sodexo site business growth activities.

Additionally, you will take up the mantle of driving new business development within the foodservice sector with a focus on the leading contract catering accounts.

About You

In line with the above job function responsibilities you have developed a deep understanding of selling food or drink in the foodservice sector which must include managing major contract caterers at head office. While not essential, experience including a strong network of contacts within Sodexo will be of great advantage to your application.

This business would really suit a ‘foodie’ with a passion and skills for conceptual food development, shaping strategy, project management and the commercial savvy required to effectively manage all of the supply chain touch points associated in successfully maximising sales volumes with this complex account.

Your experience across the industry will enable you to effectively use your relevant contacts to help build new and or develop existing accounts.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, this high profile and influential position will provide a platform for you to take a leading role in developing the business across the major contract caterers.
