Our client is a successful SME of a major FMCG company operating across a number of diverse categories. The division specialises in Natural, Free From, Fairtrade and Organic food and drink distributed through major multiples, health food shops and independent retailers. The culture is supportive, inclusive and fast paced.
They are looking for a Brand Manager to join their team and to be instrumental in assisting the Head of Marketing in delivering long term NPD pipeline and brand strategy.
The primary objective of this role is to own brand management responsibility, delivering profitable growth through pricing, cost savings and overall mix management. NPD is a key part of this role, including owning the 5-year innovation funnel and leading the NPD projects with key stakeholders. This is a broad and varied role and presents a real opportunity to be at the centre of this growing business.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent core marketing skills, obtained within a branded environment. Project management skills are essential, with demonstrable experience of personally managing cross functional teams to deliver innovation. Experience in working with Nielsen and Kantar data is desirable.
The job requires a highly organised, persuasive and decisive individual, with excellent communication skills, a team player and an ability to multitask. You will need to demonstrate plenty of passion, energy and enthusiasm to be considered.
