THE COMPANY
Our client is a highly successful and well-established name in the UK FMCG industry, supplying a mix of branded and own label brands products across UK major trade channels and overseas markets. Known for its collaborative culture and entrepreneurial spirit, the business is focused on long-term growth through innovation, customer service and strategic partnerships.
They are now seeking to appoint and experienced and dynamic Commercial Revenue Planning Manager who will work on a strategic and day-to-day level, driving future profitable sales growth and providing valuable net revenue direction to the sales function.
THE ROLE
This is a high-profile commercial role at the heartbeat of everything commercial sitting alongside the National Account & Finance teams and reports directly to the Food Trading Director.
Working as a key member of the commercial team providing a full range of financial planning, reporting and decision support to the brands team maintaining financial management of turnover and expenditure. You will shape, develop and deliver a robust promotional and trade investment management framework (control of spend) and CBP improvements, an accurate base of contribution and promotional reporting and accrual assessment for all products within the food portfolio.
Using modern SAP integrated planning (CBP and IBP) control and management systems to shape and deliver detailed financial reporting to facilitate accurate strategic decision making.
ABOUT YOU
Having developed your FMCG career through either brands or own label products within either finance or commercial functions, you have a natural ability and love for analysis and turning data into concise and actionable decision-making information.
Your experience should include a deep understanding of how brands or own label products activate within FMCG categories, coupled with the structure of the UK market major trade channels. You also have face-to-face contact experience of working with the major grocery retail multiples and National Account Management teams.
You are currently working in a commercial finance functional role with c3-5 years’ experience, you have a sound understanding of Net Revenue management gained within a recognised FMCG business (from which you can articulate a number of project successes that have impacted profit delivery and improved performance) we would love to hear your case study stories!
