The role
With strong UK growth ahead, our client is adding a hands-on Technical Supervisor to own day-to-day food safety and quality across the site.
You will:
- Safeguard product quality through the site QMS and HACCP.
- Maintain and develop supplier assurance and food safety systems.
- Lead/host internal, supplier and third-party/BRCGS audits (with support).
- Drive continuous improvement, CAPA and complaint/incident reduction.
- Support risk assessment, traceability and crisis management when required.
- Champion best practice on the factory floor and coach colleagues.
This is a factory-based role.
About you
- Degree (Food Science or similar) plus ~2–3 years’ technical experience in food manufacturing.
- Ready to step up from Technical Assistant/Coordinator or already operating as a Technical Supervisor. (Exceptional Technical Managers will also be considered.)
- Sound knowledge of HACCP, QMS, BRCGS standards and supplier auditing.
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, a clear communicator with a proactive, “can-do” approach and strong attention to detail.
